  • Shruthilayam Diwali fest 2007

    Shruthilayam celebrates it's first Diwali on stage recital at the Bharatiya hindu temple in PA. There was a shower of Carnatic Talents.

    The chief guests included Shri. Ramana Kanumala, President of Sruti and Mr. KrishnaIyer Ganapathy retired Chairperson of TNCA youth selection comittee and member of the Madras Music Academy and Hamsadhwani in India.

Ashwin Murali Wins Third Price in Classical MUsic Competiton held at DE in April 2009.

He was the youngest student to compete and win the award amongst several students who took part in the competition.

Only Six years old he sang a Bharathiyar composition in Ragamalika Ragam set to Adhi Talam.

Truly an asset to the Academy.

 

 Dr. Allyn Miner, world renowned Sitar Player and UPenn Chairperson South Asian Studies adds a star to Shruthilayam's Spring festival as the Chief Guest for the event.
