Vasantha Kannan( a desciple of Lal Gudi Jayaram) for several years. A passionate teacher who believes in sharing the knowledge and imparting quality education to students around the world.

    A disciple of Padmabhushan Lalgudi Sri Jayaraman since 1993, Vidya has performed concerts extensively in India and the USA. She has won numerous accolades and prizes

    Vidya's adherence to classicism, soulful rendition, varied repertoire and her passion for innovation have won listeners' appreciation. Vidya is also an articulate speaker who leverages her rigorous academic training to deliver lectures on various aspects of Carnatic music in a lucid and interesting style.
